Aluminum shelters are very light in weight and are easily moveable. They can be used for pay-stations, smoke shelters, and transit shelters to name a few applications. The reason I would pick an aluminum shelter over a steel shelter is because the aluminum doesn’t rust or deteriorate in highly volatile conditions. Coastal areas that have parking lots with walkup pay-stations that require the shelter would be a perfect application for the aluminum whereas steel would eventually rust. The aluminum shelters are manufactured out of prefinished white aluminum construction. If the shelter is painted and the painted is scratched, it will not rust and all you would need to do is apply touch-up paint in that particular area. You wouldn’t have to grind it or sand it in order to prep the area to repaint the shelter. Our aluminum shelters can also be engineered to meet local building codes.
